Artists and art aficionados all over the country gather every full moon of April for a weeklong celebration of the Kamarikutan Pagdiwata Arts Festival held in the city of Puerto Princesa in Palawan.  Film showings, music and dance performances, workshops and exhibits are held displaying Filipino artisanship and unique talent. This art festival is inspired by the Tagbanua s ritual of thanksgiving.
