Hil-o Hil-o Festival is a celebration honoring the mutual interdependence amongst all the community members. It is popularly known, around the country, as the Bayanihan spirit. Maayon, Capiz promotes this Filipino undying spirit of camaraderie through trade fair and food fair. And when in Capiz, don’t miss out on the freshest sea bounty like tahong(mussels), talaba (oysters), diwal (angel wings), alimango (king crab), kasag (blue crab) lukon (prawn), tangingue, scallops and many other seafood that are served bountiful and, most importantly, inexpensive. This festival is celebrated every last Saturday of February. Everyone is invited to participate in this festival highlighted by these bountiful gastronomical treat fresh from the sea.
